
Sarah Belal
Sarah Belal is the Founder and Executive Director of Justice Project Pakistan (JPP). She is the recipient of the 2016 Franco-German Human Rights Prize, granted to only 16 human rights activists throughout the world. In December 2016, she was also awarded the National Human Rights Prize by the Federal Ministry of Human Rights. In 2013, Sarah won the prestigious Echoing Green Global Fellowship – making JPP the first Pakistani organization to be recognized in the fellowship’s 25-year history. Sarah studied History at Smith College, Northampton, and has completed her law degree from Oxford University in 2006.
